I have 4 pages in google results if you put 'Oakley Window Cleaning' into google. Its not all relevant to window cleaning but it raises the profile of my domain in google, thus encouraging it rank higher in search results pages.

Matt

Do you do this yourself or do you pay someone . IF you do it yourself how ?

Dont worry I am Hertfordshire so not competing with you ?

cheers

Do it myself.

I find web-creation fairly simple and SEO isnt too hard either. I just learnt by reading up online and studying what we're meant to do to get to a reasonable search engine ranking.

To be honest I just used Google. Its not much help I know, I think I had more  time on my hands in those days but a decent website design forum is probably a good place to start or even a site that hosts web design templates etc.

It's been up and running for around a year but I've finally got it to look somewhere near how I wanted!

Can I ask what you pay for hosting?  I've got my domain purchased so once I've designed the pages will need an affordable hosti g company.

I don't pay anything, I brought 3 domain names which are around a tenner each and last a couple of years and that's it, hosting is free through Moonfruit, that is the basic package though. I do know a guy who works in SEO so I will probably discuss what's best for the website with him in the next few months!
