right just changing carbon brushes on the ninja but what is weird on brush sit in the notch but the other doesnt is that right or should both brushes sit in the groves on the vacs if you know what i mean sorry

should 1 brush stick out abit further than the other or should they be the same

In my experience both brushes should fit the same. Have you got the screws in even? Although I never change brushes now, i just replace the whole vac
