well if im been honest , i cant really understand why you want a stair wand that lenght, i have used one , and yes maybe time saving, but i find to do the risers correctly , along with the step and the leading edge anormal hand tool does a far better job, if y6ou are only doing the step, not bothering to go over the steps edge then fine , buy one

Hi Craig,

I've considered getting a short wand (stair tool) but decided against it. To do a standard flight of stairs with a normal hand / upholstery tool after vacuuming, pre-spraying and agitating takes me about 15/20 minutes. I don't see the need to do the noses with one tool and the rest with another. Others may beg to differ but I'd stick with the hand tool.

Kind regards,
Jason.

come on guys get your hands dirty and get in there with a hand tool  ;D

Must say in there favour though you dont get a sweat on like you do with a H tool and on commercial jobs there brilliant as most commercial jobs will have tread plates on riser so dont have to wory about "noses"

I must admit id like one but just cant bring myselve to but one

Hi,

Just another quick comment, I usuually find if a customer has asked for a stair clean they're usually quite dirty. You can't beat a decent vacuum, pre-spray, and hard scrub with a stiff brush then extract with a hand tool. Doesn't take long and I normally charge minimum £35 callout so for 15/20 mins work, 30 mins including setup and pack down not bad going really. You might reduce slightly with a stair wand but with the extra concentrated solution pressure and suction from the smaller tool you will achieve a better job (with a portable anyway).

Kind regards,
Jason.

i bought a hand tool from vernon at masterclean with internal jets so no overspray very quick on stairs espacially risers cant understand why you would  want a wand.
