« on: July 03, 2012, 06:05:40 pm »
my work is fairly localish to me and slightly getting a bigger radius.

my query is how far do some of you travel to do a day/weeks, months  domestics work ?

been offered a round thats about 50 mins each way travelling and worth about 2k a month.

Furthest I go is about 35 miles mate - but it's well worth the travel - ive also got rounds dotted about within 20 mile  radius or so of my home town
My philosophy is if you can get a good days wages from it then why not?? I don't mind an hour or so travelling
Obviously I'd love a full round close to home but the variety and change suits me  :)

I travel everyday about a similar distance. Works for me, I just let the customers know there's no collecting its all done cash if in, online or by cheque. Have a good solid round now and it's all say 50 mins each. It used to take me longer in the morning when in Manchester at my old job and  I live 5 mins away. John

What does it matter what others do. If you think its worthwhile then do it!  :)
