Free residential window cleaning for a year!
« on: July 03, 2012, 10:59:43 am »
How about trying this on your leaflets to stand out.

Offer: Win free window cleaning for a year ! Become a customer and get entered into our annual lottery ( or something like that)

Point them to more information on your website where they can enter into this. At this stage you can get them to check a box should you require any marketing data as well what would help you refine your marketing skills ( optional but a good way of collecting information on buying habits)

They also get to look at your great website.

Select a winner then advertise the winner on the website........

Do this every year and show older winners so that people can see you indeed do this every year.

 ;D

Or a huge mansion that takes an hour to clean every month!

I would really look forward to doing that every month for FREE!  :)

Exactly, that would cost you £36.00 per year but I think it would bring you in way more.

Thats ok but not sure you will benefit from it much as the regular custys you already have. The benefit of this 'free clean comp' would be in getting new customers if expanding your business is what you wanted to do.

I can see the marketing ploy. Lots of people sign up in the hope they will win, but I have seen a similar strategy used by window fitting companies and it doesn't work because custys are only looking for the free option nothing else.

free!!!! :o :o :o :o   ;D

Yeah - make it an offer that customers are included into a lottery type thing once per year. Trick is they have to be a customer. So you will get more calls as everyone would want such a great price if they are having to pay out all year round.
The neat thing is you will make way more than you lose on that one happy customers house done for free. Lets face it, its only your time, 10 minutes of your time once per month is nothing compared to the potential reward. My opinion.

Every one prints the same stuff on their leaflets. In the words of Kevin Durbosky (which is so true) the public aint fed up of leaflets, just fed up with bad leaflets.
Making your leaflet stand as well with a unique offer will guarantee the phone rings more.....

This offer will work and your not lying to anyone because there will be a winner. Which I said you do it every year and advertise the winners on your web site for all to see. The leaflet will point to you website and show all this and they can see what a great web site you got and watch a great video of you demonstrating your methods. Every ones a winner. You will get more calls for jobs to bid on ( they may not necessarily go for the offer )

Sooo you want me to do all the hard work and then tell you how it goes??? -  Ok lol

They won't think its scam cus it totally is not.... its a competition... whats to scam if they don't win the competition they get a reasonably priced good window cleaner. A window cleaner they needed anyway. The benefits weight more in your favor because you are marketing your business in such a different way, you will stand out and increase your profits.

This offer idea is one of loads.....

Window cleaners struggle to be different in a very competitive market and fall into the 'me too' trap. This is one way. But if you don't think it works for you then that is ok, I have more for you that might.

try this one have 11 cleans per year for the price  of 12  ;D

or seriously offer a free clean say the xmas time one.. so 12 cleans for the cost of 11 if on monthly..

the cost of the free clean divide that by your 11 cleans so in effect you dont lose out (eg &20 per month price at say £22 but your 12 clean will be free..the incentive) ... you  get your money quicker ( after 11 cleans)... and it'll save you chasing that 12 payment also..

just a thought

I think AC was saying fix the draw so your easiest customer wins.
That would be wrong.
