YES

free advertising targeting an area you already work in whilst you are working !
no longer are you some dodgey bloke with a hose pipe hanging out the back of his van,
but a window cleaning COMPANY.

If the above is true or not I shall leave for others on here to interpret but in my opinion it makes you more approachable to potential customers ( they are more likely to come over and ask for a card or quote) and over time your van becomes a familiar site around town.

e.g. "I'd been meaning to ask you for a quote, I see your van around a lot"

Hi Will
When I went to get the phone numbers on the van changed the signwriting man said don't worry about the price just think about the free advertising!
He was right.
I have had several people walk up and ask me just because of the van.
Stopped at lights and I could see a woman writing down my number from her living room.
Last week a lady on a mobility scooter stopped beside the van as I was packing up.
I said "Morning - you all right love?" - "Will be when you come and clean my windows"
Didn't recognise her so i said "Sorry don't know you do I clean your windows?" - So she says "No but you can if you like I'll be home in 5 mins"
While I'm cleaning her windows she's on the phone to neighbours and friends - got me 4 jobs from just one walkup!
So I would say yes.
g.
