I don't think prices will necessarily rise ... I paid £500 for my SLX35 four years ago - what price a new one?
It's a game of three halves!

Research Debt based currency. It will blow you away.

Yeh, it's all illusory.  We see something as inherently existing, yet when you go to look for it using a bit of intelligence, it's not there in the way we thought it was.  It's quite 'Buddhist' really!  ;D

How old is this pole? I have seen on the Gardiner website that this pole retails at £835 inc VAT. I am looking for a pole like this but only if it's in good condition 2nd hand

The pole is a few years old, but in excellent condition, it has been sitting in the van for the last 2 years without being used, I also have a modular fishing pole that reaches 50' that I have never used for window cleaning, it has been used though for fishing.

;D Ive got a habit of doing that,

Its also necessary for a capitalist system to fail. Inflation used honestly can be a good thing but coming off the gold standard and printing money out of thin air and handing it out in the billions at a negligable interest rates to bankrupt entities with no hope of it ever being repaid is suicide.

Would you lend me 10grand at 1% interest?

BTW I have no money and no means or intention of repaying it. In fact I cant even mantain the interest payments on the loans you have previously made to me.

BVC.

cool,  they better buy a supermax and I am sure that alex with stop selling the sl2 and the extreme poles soon, who needs one of those, when the supermax is the cheapest.

as everyone seems to think that the supermax is the ideal choose for a pole, despite it weighing 1100 grams more than the sl2, I will take it off the market and keep it, many thanks for your input.
