I took my first phone call from my free listing on Yell.com on friday, and as the job was about 15 miles from home I gave a rough price over the phone on the given sizes but explained that I would do an onsite survey if they were intrested.
Nothing from them (I knew giving price on phone was a bad idea) until this morning when customer phoned us thinking we were a different firm to give them the job

Why are you twice as expensive as the other firm

Explained our cleaning methods, time involved/cost of job, ensured them we would do an excellent job, etc etc.
Guess what, phone rang this afternoon they want us to do the clean next week, doing survey on saturday.

IT JUST GOES TO SHOW IT'S QUALITY THAT COUNTS, NOT PRICE
