hey, good on, you a wee little bit of advice, when buying a pole, look at gardiners, clx if on a budget, dont be tempted to get glass fibre ones etc from other places

Hmmm. The clx has some advantages over a hybrid xtel. It is shorter when closed, cheaper and slightly lighter. On the downside a clx is whippy and less reliable. I would certainly agree about not buying glass fibre.

If you are a "gurl" like you; or "old" like me, then a light pole will work wonders for the work you get through.

CLX and SLX are prefixes for poles made by "Gardiner" pole systems (note spelling) and are widely recognised as being the lightest and the best poles on the market.

CLX is a range made from carbon fibre hybrid mix - the Slx is completely carbon fibre and thus even more light and rigid.

This afternoon a new windy i gave some advice to showed me his 17ft Unger fibreglass pole. It felt as heavy as my 30ft SLX.

It's a game of three halves!

Hi Scrim shady
ATB
You could / should do really well.  Customers love female window cleaners you have a clear advantage - most dread the tattooed, muscled, skinhead, ex-con type of look that most window cleaners (well around here anyway) seem to portray.

thanks for the comments...ive been cleaning windows for 7 years but recently split from my partner and ive had to start on my own!being a female window cleaner has its perks...i do find the majority of people who want a domestic window cleaner are mums/house wives and many women find approaching a strange man intimidating...onwards and upwards from now on!! ;D
