I so wish I hadn't seen that :-(
Since starting in this business only last week I cannot stop thinking about it. I know I should listen to my head and start gently, building slowly but I am already in love with window cleaning.
I was taught by a brilliant trad friend, a cousin actually. He's been in the business for decades and simply loves going up and down his ladder. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses a ladder to get on the toilet, he's that short.
I started working with trad stuff and I am so glad that I have, I have learnt so much about houses and windows in particular.
Bearing the nice side to trad methods, I cannot wait to get my hands on a pure water set up. I've nearly finished my pole. Harris, brilliant in learning pole control and techniques. I use it with trad mop and blade on awkward windows, thoroughly recomend a Harris pole to any newcomers.
I'm just waiting for a nice letter from the taxman so I can spend a couple of hundred on getting under way.
I have found also that I am a good chatter, which I enjoy as do the customers. They really like me being a local homecoming lad. Great community down here. Love it.
