Right decided to take the plunge and get a second van on the road seen the van problem is it only has a 250ltr tank most of my work is residential I'm just wondering how many houses I'll be able to do before having to go home and fill up

Depends on the houses you might be able to work 4 hrs , better off buying a bigger tank . Mike

Ok I should do I've a 400 ltr ionics in mine which lasts me most days the van I'm looking at only as 250 ltr tank with a di system but all work is local so not much travelling involved I was thinking maybe 3/4 hours before having to fill up just weighing the pros and cons before splashing out so glad this site is so helpful

i carry 200 litres and that lasts me about 4 hours (thats in total, not 4 hours on the glass)

You could buy some 25 litre barrels to top up. That's what I do as I got a 250l tank for free.

250 litres lasts me about 4 hours,then i top up with tap water from customers tap and can keep working while filling up.Twin di after pump.About 50 ppm tap water so not too dear.

Same here, just pump into them so always ready. They're then 0 TDS and ready to go.

Go to the for sale section and buy my 400L tank (with immersion heater)!  ;D
