Need some experience and nous here! What length of pole do you reckon I will need for these offices I have been asked to price for?
And any advice on pricing welcome too - biggest job I have had to look at so far - I was thinking any window above second storey £2.

I reckon you'll need a 45' pole to get to the sky lights with ease. Don't forget you're going to have to stand back a fair way to be able to see what you're cleaning.

As for price I reckon £100 if regular

The view of the 2 bay windows one above the other with the top windows above that.

We have a similar house and we need to use a SLX40 on full length to reach them 2 top windows second floor. Frankie is right about the windows above the entrance.

I personally think this would require something longer than 40' IMHO.

In my opinion because of the inset third storey window over the double-height bay windows you would need a 40ft pole with about a 10" gooseneck to clean these comfortably. A 35ft with gooseneck may just reach, but I think that it would be a little bit of a stretch.

These older Victorian type buildings can be deceptively high.

i was going to say 35ft with a long gooseneck, my guess is the bottom windows on the bay are 12ft and the building to the gutter 30ft although there is one window as pointed out above a porch (look like platfrom that can be cleaned via the inside. with reach and 35ft pole that is totally do able thats near on 40ft by my guesses (but never quote from a pic)

Have you measured the building height or at least the bottom bay window ? then measure from there ?

Not a chance unless you're 3 metres tall!  .

Windows set back beyond the roof line, rooflights and those above crenellated porches and bays and ground falling away can be very deceptive.

I have similar properties in Clifton Bristol and this is why I bit the bullet and went longer as my old slx35 struggles.

And have a shorter pole 20ft pole laid out ready for the lower stuff so it's not too heavy.

Price? £100 monthly or £120 two monthly. Less a fiver/tenner if they pay on presentation of invoice (i.e. you don't have to wait for your money)

He's asked for every 3 months.
They are being cleaned so I asked straight out seeing as they are being cleaned why ask me -  it must be either price or service or both!
He reckons no real problem with either except the Co. who does them have about 6 vans and send different people all the time and he admires me for not sitting on my a**e after being made redundant thought it may give me a leg up!
But I will have to invest in more kit - can a 5'6" 10 Stone weakling handle a Pole that size

+ one for the pole option as well(those top windows will be a bugger to get over the little parapet roof on the 2nd floor windows-you will be standing a fair way back to see it all)

I used to live in a flat in Fartown similar to this which had 12ft ceilings so I would say you would be better off with a 40 / 45 the longer the better. Expensive kit for a one off ...

 You may not be able to reach them all I would be tempted to get up on the flat roof and admit defeat on the ones you cannot reach ... do the skylights inside off some steps if they just flip round? is another option ... even if they're means of escape you can take the whole window out in a couple of clicks.

It could turn into one of those jobs you wish you had never knocked for! Maybe this time walk away it was a positive mental exercise and good experience but if you are the seventh windy on the job I would be asking myself why???
