I read and lurk on this forum.... it is full of great advise and wisdom....! but also it is full of posters who are sooo negative!!
ie! if one has a broken arm... someone has 5 broken arms and a broken leg!!
I like to read posts, but because of the attitude and cockyness of a lot of members , i just dont want to post anything!
it's a realm shame as I have a lot of positive advice.......

I couldnt agree more, i dont tend to bother reading any negative posts "this has gone wrong" etc etc.

It just brings you down, id much prefer to see someone doing well and showing us what theyve achieved.

It just brings you down, id much prefer to see someone doing well and showing us what theyve achieved.

I'm not so sure.  If someone posts about something that goes wrong, it can warn me to avoid making a similar mistake.  What I do like is when someone posts "this is what went wrong AND THIS IS HOW I FIXED IT"

The problem in England today there is not much respect for each other.This being  evident on this forum.
What then happens you get dragged in to play the rude game or you walk away and find your forum needs else where. Its a shame.

i think it's just normal chitchat i had a lookl at that american forum from wcr hardly any jokes just back patting and forth riight views not my bag i appreciate a bit of cynicism which isn't necessarily negativity

Pete ............ some people need to vent .......... maybe missus not interested or no missus or mates to vent to so they come on here and vent ....... may come across as being negative but were all human on here ..... I think ?  

Others like to take pea outta one another and some post remarks just to wind up others that take the bait just take a look at some exchanges between Hydro and others on one of my postings called "can you call before you come next time"   http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=153075.0

For example if I wanted to take pea outta of you I would ask if you had bullying issues at school  

You just tune in, sit back and enjoy ......... having a thick skin does help though.

There are few that go not suffer fools. Must most is in jest and the few that mean it don't give anything to the forum , just take as there may well be people that do not post as they feel they may be put down or laughed at.
