Hose reel fixed to van?

Anyone fix their hose reel to van perminately?
If so what fittings did you use and where did you get them.

A couple of self tappers straight thru the reel into van floor

Just got some 22mm brass pipe couplers and put them over the bottom of the hose reel drilled into the bottom of the van. Really sturdy and means you can reel the hose in fast and not faffing about getting the hose in and out of the van and it falling over

Attached mine to a large piece of worktop cutoff.  Solid enough in use, but still OK to get out of the van if I need to.

I will be putting mine onto a piece if board and placing one of the hozelock rollors in front of it as apparently stops the hose snagging

mine hangs from the van roof
makes it easier to reel in/out also gives more room on the floor

Mines fixed to the top of my tank - I've strapped it to the cage so I can move if necessary
Its situated so I can access straight from side door

ive got mine mounted on chequer plate fasend whith p clips then drilled and taped to top of tank
