groupon

7 months on.what a waste of time.
never again.
you just get the pondlife buying the vouchers.
my vouchers have expired but i get idiots calling asking me to go round.
i redeemed vouchers 5 weeks ago and havent recieved a penny.luckily not many vouchers sold as there isnt a specific groupon for my area.
had i of sold 100s of vouchers i would of quit.
if groupon or wowcher ring.dont do it.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.

its upto you but i wouldnt recommend it.your working for nothing and you have people ringing you expecting you to do it when they want.
 you get people who have left there houses to become a mess and want you to nake it like new.they dont want more work even though they will give you the impression that they will.

i would think if you have not long started up,with time on your hands, it would be a very good way to test your stamina ,
survive a Groupon campaign  and you would be very experienced afterwards , toughened up

If I remember rightly, there was a thread that was pages and pages long about Groupon, and why not to do it. Some of the reasons posted in the thread, were the ones you have posted here! Sometimes it pays not to listen to advice, but other times, as already said, we live and learn!

All the daily deals websites can work very well if you choose the right deal to offer, either one off cleans or conny roofs and facias etc.... Just make sure you inflate your price within reason to make it viable....

The new handyman service I am working with uses these offers to their advantage and it brings in a huge amount of business with lots of upselling opportunities....
