customer of mine has a white ish carpet,slight lucozade stain.Would you say if i tried it with 3% peroxide i might get some results,Wool carpet.Thanks

really,was hoping to get some results with it,carpet only a month old and i m going to get the carpets fibre protection job if shes happy with results.Might just try prochem oxibrite and fibre buff,dont always get great results with then on these kind of stains.

These are the kind of stains Dyegone was developed for but you need to have confidence using these kinds of products.

hi john,yes dyegone sounds like a good product,Cant seem to find a local supplier,i ve played around with amomonia and peroxide in the past,just wondering has anyone had luck with peroxide on lucozade,customer in a panic so want to try make her a fan of mine lol

What works for one person doesn't always work for another because they are too many variables.
By all means try different things BUT do it under strict limits, in other words use cotton buds on just a strand, twist of carpet at a time. That way any adverse effects that might happen are limited to the minimum. There are many a storey of people reading about how 'someone' posted 'miracle' results on a similar problem, which when they copied by covering the WHOLE stain in one go sit back in amazment when that slightly orange stain becomes a dark blue in your face mess.

Try Dye Gone. Very effective on irnbru and thats on a par with lucazade. Let the chemical dwell for 20 minutes before extracting.

Its well worth getting your hands on some carpet samples. End of line books from your local retailer are best I source. Cover them with various drink/dye stains and leave them for a few weeks.

Then spend a free couple of hours playing around with the various bleaches and strippers, their boosters, heat transfer methods etc until you feel comfortable.

As already mentioned use of these products is best qualified with the customer before attempting to be on safe side.
