Securing Airflex Storm in van?
«

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this so please don't judge me too harshly if this is a stupid question
I recently bought an airflex storm & I am wondering what is the best way to secure the machine in the back of my van to stop it flying from one side to the other? Is there a really simple way that I am just not seeing? Thanks for your help.

as above.....chocking the wheels with wood battens screwed down to the floor.
I would also attach with locking cable to stop it being nicked if you keep overnight and will also stop it tipping over if you have a turbo sports van.

Same as above but additionally I added to two loading eyes (steel plates with rings attached) to the steel bulkhead these are braced and bolted through 4" plates. There's a ratchet loading strap that goes around the machine and through the eyes. Don't move a mm.

Yep same as above I use batons in a square, lift the machine over the front baton and it sits in the nicely I recently ply lined my van and carpeted the whole lot even the batons.

The machine should be secured from moving forward by ratchet straps. These should go from the securing points at the bottom rear of the load space ( in most vans ) and over the handles or body of the machine.
A friend was killed by a fruit machine coming onto the front seat in his van when he collided with another vehicle.
