I used twitcher for a bit until the missus told me to stop clowning around with my phone  :o

Did nowt for me except waste my time really ... it's a full time job this computering lark more folk want Windows cleaning than window cleaning if you get my drift  ::)

Probably all those houses where one leaflets where the garden is overgrown and all the curtains are closed are on twitter? Used to be a house like that on every estate when I grew up (council of course  ;D) ... now there's a couple on every street!

Why is that? Houses are so expensive too and they just let them fall to bits like that. Guttering hanging off window frames rotting away japanese knot weed small boys in the park jumpers for goal posts ......

I've been using it properly since the beginning of the year... I've so far gained 4 regular customers from it.

I'm on it now. Mate who runs a media. Implant reckons that linking Twitter to Facebook is massive and great for keeping your 'name' in the public domain, especially for a sole trader.

Anyway, I am @AndyWindowsDeal
feel free to pester me with work.

apparently

if you have twiter , fb linkedin etc etc.. on your website and have them linked back to these social mediums.... and use them and have people you are connected too etc..  then it can help (alledgedly) improve / drive your ranking..

@deantaberner

Very little window cleaning talk going on on there though.

Mainly jibberish.

depends who you follow - follow things you're interested in or people that are doing interesting stuff and you get some interesting stuff to read. Most people on Twitter are desperately trying to get people to follow them, missing out on the whole point of it (IMO) thats where the jiberish comes into it

Twitter can be a useful communication tool when used as part of a broader social media network, I would agree though it can be very time consuming.

Well spotted Ian. He was a smart guy even though he lost it a bit.
