Very good article - well researched and very balanced.
Myth 4 is very interesting as the reason for why RO and WFP work so well together.

Now we need another one on the effects of drinking DI water.

The blog post does call itself a lens early on which leads me to believe that it's a post from Squidoo. Mind all journalism is a bit of plagiarism tintit.

Still excellent myth busting article.

But what about if after the R/O it goes through resin? Does that make a difference?
It's a game of three halves!

A lot of those coffee machines in coffee bars have a di vessel to purify the water before the coffee is made.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Gold is right. It's the final resin mix where the problem is.

Merlin R/O's were made for under sink application, but it doesn't have a resin DI vessel attached to it.

You can buy food grade resin or industrial grade resin. we buy industrial grade. Chemically pure is not the same as biologically safe. You never sterilise your containers do you?
