Terrazo Polishing New
« on: May 21, 2012, 03:41:47 pm »

 Hi All
We are quoting for a initial clean, that has a substantial amount of Terrazo. I was going to polish up with diamond pads and then seal and polish.

wondered what methods and products people are using as iam out of touch.

 cheers

It will probably need deep cleaning first prior to polishing to remove all dirt and any old sealers but then there loads of methods available to re polish.  One of the quickest is a Natural Hair Pad and something like Klindex KP 85 polishing powder.

I would still wash it even if it is only with a pH Neutral cleaner!  Why does it need a diamond polish?  Has it not already been done by the fixers?

 hi kevin
well this is the spec requested it is very dusty from footfall.

sometimes though these guys right up the spec and dont really know what they want. like it says seal and polish
which of course you wouldnt do in terrazo.
