I use a similar method, I ask who is the person who looks after the window cleaning, I then leave my card and ask the receptionist to pass it on to him.2 weeks later I telephone and say "Hi its william" from "Pure Hydro Cleaners" can you put me though to so and so.This normally gets you though the barriers that a lot of companies have in place to stop cold calling, the receptionist normally thinks that you have already spoken to this person in the past and he/she will not know whether you are a potential client or not.

I do work in Brum
