Now thats what I call a professional image
« on: May 19, 2012, 04:15:05 pm »
http://www.prudentialwindowcleaning.co.uk/

Was on youtube looking at window cleaning and came across a video from this company which got me to their website.

Dont know who they are or if they're on this forum but most professional image I've ever seen.

If I can get anywhere near this standard of website / youtube video I will be a happy man.

I agree Ian,,,,,,but any or a good number of poetential customers,
Particulary on the residential side might think when they see that,
That these fella`s will be too expensive. :)
It`s like when ya run around in a posh fancy estate car even.
People think if ya running a vehicle like that it`s cos`ya charging
Too much.
Just my opinion like. ;D :o 8) ::)

These people are very few and far between, I would not look poor just so I get work from people that question about vans/cars etc.
I tend to make sure my things look like I am more expensive (helps with the weeding process.

Have to say that video they have is fantastic, shame about the computer generated voice though.

the ladder work using no hands is not great either, but the site video branding all look really good.

Great stuff, if they are on here would love to know who did this video for them

I agree, no offence Lewis but it's a bit like dumbing down to the lowest common denominator worrying about those types

I have been looking at the image I project, and decided that I really needed to improve it.

Out are the tatty jeans and in are a smart new pair of workman's trousers with multiple pockets, thus also making redundant the scruffy old builder's pouch that I used before. My work jacket is smart and I have t shirts that go very well with the trousers.

My boots shine and I shave every day (well most days!).

Vehicle wise, I drive a 1999 Fiesta van, which is in very good nick for its age. The front mats are swept daily and the exterior is kept clean.

I do believe it is important to project a professional image in order to be taken seriously by your target market.

It does look good and they have obviously invested a lot into the business.
I still think although I am uniformed etc I have a very professional company although I do not have the shiniest kit its all in working order and i clean with the same brushes and remember pure water is just pure water. Its all pumped up by a simple pump it just hasn't got a fancy graffic's to tart it up!

Sorry but I got to pick a hole in that video. It mentions about health and safety then the guy climbs a ladder. Wets with one hand and takes off with the other.

Thought it was a great video until the woman started talking and when the guy gets his ladder off to do the same window as he did with a pole.  ???

Actually, it started when I saw the Ionics pole. (jokes)

Site looks good though.

I don't know, the more I see companies like these, the happier I am, just working for myself, having a nice residential round with no or minimal fuss. Optimized work, good earnings. No worries about employees, no worries about maintaining a fleet of vans, having spare time for more important things, the list goes on.
