did a builders clean today.on a shop, to be fair i wasn't expecting it to be easy. the windows had been pasted with a full window sized wrap/murial type thing ( not sure what to call them) which they removed  and left adhesive all over the window .. it took ages to get off as well as the paint plaster pva. one big shop took me 4 hrs to get it anywhere near how i wanted it to look . inside and out. i wfp the front too get rid of most of the dirt and it came up terrible  and ended up doing it by trad. eventually it came together
not sure what to charge though . its getting done weekly so it'll fit nicely into my town round. is it worth charging a lot or do it for a normal cost and take it on the chin for the sake of customer relations....... any feed back would be appreciated

did'nt you tell them a price before you started?
if regular customer I would charge a little less than your standard hourly rates as it is regular and tell them this.

would not take 4 hours on the Chin unless it is a fantastic paid job on a regular basis.

I would alwasy in furture give a price before cleaning, or at least tell them it is being charged per hour/ half day

because it was opening today it was a bit hectic. everybody finishing off to get it ready, and it was one of those jobs that cause of the state it was in would of been hard to determine a price , tbh..... the customer who i do other work on another of there business has always been fair to me. but i dont want to cheese them off by charging my normal hourly rate.

Id have said £60 would be fair but £100 realistically

yeah 60 quid was what my window cleaner mate said . which is only 15 an hr but its not like i have to do that every week . the hard bits done. its only a maintenance clean from now on....

I would charge more, you have put the time in and effort. You could say I would normally charge £100 but as I am cleaning it regulary I will charge £80. You are obviously worth it

Take the first one on the chin and keep the shop.

£60 is maybe a bit light, but to be honest if it fits it will be worth it in the long run.
