Cracking little machine I've ran four over the years, the original starter truckmont, speak to john at Restormate he's  the go to guy, you can lpg convert it for £150 and still run petrol as well, Good for weight in a smaller van, always change belts on big service and keep your filters clean look after it and you won't get much bother.
About as far from a lemon as you'll get.

Great machine, back up second to none.

Honda engine so spares easily sourced, restormate carry prowler specific spares, next day delivery.

Had mine nearly3 years with very little down time, can do maintenance yourself with JKs guidance.

Thanks for the replies chaps, very helpful.

I'm actually buying the machine off john and judging by your replies I think I'm making the right choice, especially as I'm only about 10 mins drive away from him as well!

Used mine to death for nearly 4 years. Just keep bypass on machine open a bit when doing upholstery, and open bypass on wand a bit if your not pulling trigger (when moving furniture, answering phone etc)

Keep filter clean as it can bung up a bit with bits of wool, or get an external filter to catch that 1st

Wd40 through blower end of each day

Grease ya nipples and change oil regular

As above. Big step up from a portable. Good for the mindset.   ;)

I thought it was the beer and junk food that cause the horrid taste in my mouth the next morning, now I'm not so sure!

Billy was telling me that Jim was shouting that as he was biting the pillow. :-)
