 I have just joined the SLX owners club 

SLX -30.  Replaced a Fishing pole.  A tage heavier.....but wow...sooo much easier to use AND...........

It's David proof....

Yeah I trod on it before I even got it in use........full 16 1/2 st of me on the top section...with boots!!
I had a fit.....but............not a sound......no "CRACK!!"...IT SURVIVED  .

Seriousely though, I used it all day for everything, bit heavier than my trusted Unger Optilock mod but easy to use and could get everything without a pole change.
