ACCOUNTANT FEE'S
« on: May 16, 2012, 05:46:12 pm »
Intrested to hear what others pay as I am getting kicked in the nuts HARD!

Take into consideration I employ 1 person on a part time contract. She supplies payslip on a monthly basis.

Anyone else employ part time, what do you pay?

Oh.... before you ask... Im paying accountant £760.00 a year  :o

There was a 2 or 3 page thread on this recently. All your questions are answered within.

I employ 2 and have just paid my accountant £243 for the year. Mind you, It's nice and easy for him... I give him all my receipts in number order and corresponding print outs of expenses/income/profit etc from my best friend George  ;D

Seems  an outrageous price to me.  You should shop around and tell your new accountant nothing of these charges, infact if they ask, half the figure, it's realistic and believable...

Its NOT what the accountant charges you should be looking at, its what he can do for you and your business that matters.

Would you rather pay an accountant £200 per year, or pay him £700 per year if he can do more for YOU.

I had same accountant for 19 years and looking back he was rubbish, i paid him £1100 per year and decided i'd had enough of him because of a question id asked himn and didnt like the answer.

Anyway i now pay a superb accountant £210 per month = £2,500 per year.

My point being my accountants charges have doubled, but my income has increased because he is superb.

Best move ive ever made, so dont look for cheap accountant fees, find someone that can work with you to make you more profitable.
