Hi all,we do a lot of upvc cleaning and almost always go away from jobs happy with frames,gutters,doors etc but not happy with the fascias.Most fascias we do have what I can only think are runs from the screws holding the fascia on.The runs are brown and look bloody awful but nothing iv tried seems to shift them.Iv tried elbow grease and scrubbing pads,upvc cleaner,cif,even tried wd40 but nothing works.Do any of you guys have a product you can recommend

go to a window manafacturer or supplier and ask for there most potent chemical the smeller the better for upvc

I think you'll find it is more to do with limescale or similar, maybe the minerals etc. in the water actually etching away at the plastic. If you look you will see it is always where the water runs down, always worse by blocked gutters.

There have been a couple of jobs where I have not managed 100% success. You will get a major improvement with magic sponge with water or for more stubborn staining the same with cream cleaner and / or on some occasion solvent.

I think overall though solvent is a waste of with these marks. The next time I come accross this I intend to try an acid cleaner. Maybe harpic limescale remover or worst case something a bit stronger. Definitely test a small area firstly but I do think it's worth a go.
