Hey Dean,
There are only so many calls this outfit can do. Their reputation and standard or work will determine how big they get, but I doubt they are any threat to you.
We all lose a few now and again and would say your commercial work will have put other cleaners out.

Yeah I agree,

Its all good fun.

Just a small fact. The new laws are, you must register at the time of opening your business. There is no 3 months grace to register even if you only earn 5 quid a year.

Matt,

He was on the sick from another job receiving full sick money and has started up this business.

I know the person who owns the company that he works for very well.
Then speak to this person as basically it's fraudulent to be claiming sick pay, if you are in fact fit enough to work, that may start the ball rolling with HMRC as the employer will be claiming back sick pay from them (hopefully)

He's been on the sick for 4 months so far this year and has started up this little venture with his brother in law.
AS above

All is fair in love and war I know that but when I look at my expences and then look at theirs then it is annoying.
Yes it is all fair in love and business.....so turn it round the other way, it's fair for you to do what you need to to protect your business :)

Especially when they portray themselves as a professional outfit.

Professional is only in the eye of the customer :)

I still go by live and let live.....mostly, but Dean if this really has got to you and yes it p's me off when people boast about not paying tax etc etc, then report this crew to HMRC. There is an anonymous phone line you can do this on.
If they are all above aboard then no harm done. If not then at least you have done something to try and get rid of rogue traders
 :)

if its not legit and you know this then shop them,I agree that's wrong ,but if there clued up they would register and simply not declare a true amount.obviously no one on here would do this.

Never mind all the dithering - get on line now and report it.  It's anonymous and it's your duty, it's not just you they're stealing from, it's every taxpayer plus they give the genuinely needy a bad name.

He could also be on this forum right now and going legit in the morning! just a thought.

I dont worry about a company that has 7 vans on the road in my town, the guy is doing very well for himself, alot of his workers are 'on the fiddle' so I hear!! but they do a 'on the fiddle' job so doesnt worry me one bit. I have kept ALL of my customers since start up (except the ones I have passed onto another new guy in the area) and indeed pick up alot of there unhappy customers  ;D

The cream ALWAYS rises to the top.
Dont worry dean it will all come out in the wash!

Ian's was better he found you the link! :)
But you are welcome.
People tend to forget that one little part of the reason that this country is in a mess is because of tax dodgers and benefit frauds.
It won't get any better if more get away with it! :)

That's why the "link" put up is anonymous, call, leave details, put phone down. Don't tell people what you have done and get on with your life, there's not much more you can do!

Mark.

People who take the P as much as he does deserve what they get coming to them.

Adding to that he knows my address as he has spent many a time at my house drinking my beer and eating my steak before he decided to poope on me.
