I love my aqua-dapter loads better than a pole tap and loop but i have been wondering if it would make me quicker just to have a bigger tank and waste the water plus be quicker with a 215g lighter pole.

Time costs more than water so do you think it saves lots of time or do you find your self wasting time turning the water off with the aqua dapter every few second  

I have seen people clean the front of houses with two windows upstairs and two down stairs and they dont turn the flow off at all they run the brush over the top sill with the flow still going.

or do you have one because you don't like bending down to pick up the tap once you have done the house

if you get a bigger tank its more wear and tear on your van or you might have to buy a bigger van.more expense for the sake of £70?

also it looks better when the customers in if your keeping water to a min and not splashing it all over the place!!

I just tend to let go of the trigger and the water stops instantly

i prefer to turn the flow off for the window sills as it stops so much dripping, also carrying more water just to waste costs you more in resin, and more in fuel carrying more, the aquadapter is defo worth it

Water is also a scare commodity with most WFP cleaners. Our filtration plant isn't big enough for the 3 of us, but I don't really want to shell out on a new 40/40 which would also mean a new DI vessel and a new 25kg bag of resin to fill it.

I have a 2.0 hdi Relay SWB and I can tell you that there is a big difference between carrying 650 litres and carrying 400 litres. As Daz says, the costs of hauling more water around are considerable. My son has an Hdi Partner 800 LX as his running costs are much less than mine.

So for us the more water we can save the better, but it's not the only consideration - we don't live in the Sahara desert. Taking an extra 3 secs to switch off the water isn't going to empty the reservoir, but the amount saved will soon add up.

My son will tell you that his aquadapter gets him a couple more windows from his back pack. Over a day, that means a couple less trips back to the van to refill his backpack.

spuce why you not not spend money on the things that count in your business, sounds like madness to me fella. if you have to worry about a drop of water here and there then you will spend more time doing that than growing your business, I know which I would choose and the aquadapter is not it, a tap does the same thing.

also while I am here when you guys switch off this thing do you put your poles down first ? or do you remove one hand to tug your pipe   whilst the pole is in the air ? the reason I ask is because of the safety issue if this is being done add wind and I would class than as a haxard waiting to happen.
as you may tell from my posts I am still not convinced of the need when a tap does the same thing and does not add weight to the end of the pole.

Dazmond, are you saying this because you dont have a big enough van and tank ?
as honestly the cost of carrying water around is far out weighed by the work we do, I would always rather have to much than to little the same goes for an ro system, why buy one thats to small, seems really simple to me.

I carry my tap in a holster on my side. Any loops of pole hose is hooked over a small hook (which also stops it getting mucky and then possibly transferring said muck up the pole.)

ian my 350L tank is plenty for most days work.i have two 25L barrels to take me up to 400L if need be.its enough for a one man band like myself!!

cheap van,cheaper insurance and easy to reverse onto driveways.no problem!!

on topic the aqua-daptor is easy to turn on and off either at the brush head when cleaning ground floor windows or a quick tug of the hose when up in the air!

i v got one they are heavy when the poles extended i can take or leave it really. funny when you pull it by accident and it sprays everywhere. could get you in trouble. i have a tap on the other pole and i prefer that tbh
