Had to use this m/c yesterday. pulled it out of storage. filled up/piped up and the pump let me down.?
pump primes and makes all the usual noises, just doesnt pump water ?. tried the obvious, water in tank :
solution tank filter, etc, pumps less than5mths old and is a back up m/c only. not an air lock, connected to upholstery tool, prime the trigger. nothing but pumps running?. any advice apprec.
Cheers mal

Pump head/solution line from the pump blocked with dried residue? might need a descale of it's been sitting for a while, or hose kinked? Try an open ended short piece of pipe instead of tools.
You could try a different solution hose

Put a male quick connect on the outlet. Sometimes a handtool isn't enough to bleed the air out. Put the vac hose over the end of the male qc to pull water through.
