Solvent cleaner or Acetate.

If you have a steamer that will shift the stuff that Solvent won't budge, then just use solvent on the residue.

We use two solvent cleaners, one is better at sticker removal and actually sold as a UPVC Cleaner but this is from a local supplier. It will remove stickers and sticker residue of pretty much any surface that it is safe to use solvent on.

It has only failed me once and that was on a three foot by six inch strip of baked on masking tape that we ended up using the steamer on (a heat gun on low setting or hair dryer would have also done the trick as it's all about softening the glue).

The better one for actually cleaning is Siroflex SX Solvent Cleaner, similar result but definitely better and goes way further too.

I use this very good and has a nice smell.Sticky Stuff

When you say nice smell, if it smells like peardrops then Siroflex SX is the same but costs less for a litre than this for 250ml.
