Im doing a couple of lounges next week in an OAP home.There are a few marks that the owner says were caused by rubber friction from wheel chair tyres and frame feet.

Any advice on getting these out would be much appreciated.

may be permanent, try citrus gel or similar.

Oddly enough, I was doing an EOT on Tuesday (carpets and safety flooring in bathroom) and the landlord asked if I could have a go at the wheelchair marks in the kitchen.
Went to have a look and the marks were the tyre tread in the spot where the tenant parked his wheelchair. I tried everything with no success - didn't even start to clean it.
Landlord ended up saying he'd replace the flooring.

If you have an illuminated microscope take a look. If you dont have one - buy one!

They are great for getting your customer down to ground level and taking a look at what lurks beneath.

You will pr0bably find that the fibres are scorched. I would go down the line of saying that clenaing may improve (so you get the job of cleaning) but not build their hopes too much.

I've had success with Orange X, mind fibres were not damaged, this was a hotel room which I clean often as it's a wheel chair access room. Wool loop. Ultrapac may do it also but O-X has a lower PH.

what he is saying is there are black mark from the wheelchairs & frame feet....... unless the OAPs where doing wheel spins or 360degree handbrake turns

 then   their shouldn't be friction burns, i would go in with a quality pre-spray
