my tap tds has always been 30-40 then all of a sudden shot up to 250 then its came down to 150 and stayed there the water even tasted diffrent to drink the water board came round and did some tests and said it was safe to drink but we have a new feed to diffrent water now and will stay that way for the next couple of years untill they change it back do i carry on di only or get an ro if i have a ro with an ibc tank in the back garden will a sub pump still work trailing it up my garden through the kitchen then on to the rd where my van is or wont it work that distance? or do i get a van ro unit and fill it strait into my van problam there is ide need to fill 650 ltrs before i went to bed as some idiot would rip it out of the van as they walked past dureing the night and also can you buy a reel for trasfer house as its a lot thicker HELP""

You definitely need an ro to bring down resin costs, how far in meters would you estimate from ibc tank to van...?

i have had a sub pump working through about 50 metres of hose before without an issue

thanks for replies ial measure up this afternoon ial let you no.was 50mts of hose tranfer hose or garden hose and can you buy a reel for it also its not as far as 50mtrs away

transfer hose. It was the flat hozelock hose from B&Q. 2 attached together

Morning Steve, what make is your pump, got my static system in my garage now,best thing ever, wish I'd done it months ago as completely takes the hassle out of everything, coffee soon..?
