Hi Guys,

We will need to get a back up Portable machine, we use the Ninja 400psi with inline steammate, in case if the ninja stop working!!!

Prochem they told me that the new Prochem Steempro Powerplus 150psi is really good but we always used portables with 400psi.

Could you please recommend any good, reliable portable machine and cost effective on service and parts as the ninja maintenance and parts at ashbeys are really expensive.

I would like something similar to the ninja in size as we will have 2 machines on the van!!

Think people are reluctant to recommend machines as there are lots of variables ,
but based on what your used to , Ninja ,  twin series 3 stages , heat , pumptec  and  same capacity .

The powerflite black max for £2000 in the add banner above ( refresh  a few times it will appear ) looks hard to beat on price/spec ratio .

 But i would have used everything it contains in other machines  ,  just saying its a good deal price wise if you add up the sum of its parts .   
3000w inbuilt heater + passive preheater  , 500 psi pumptec , twin 3 stage  for £2000

There are lots of other machines to consider though .

I have and I highly rate it, but it is a bit bigger than the ninja, but smaller than the TM

Is the CFR  ECO-500 AW a good machine? The recycling water system is something that we never tried, any comments on that!

Yes , i'd say the £300 off sale could be stock clearing before the 6.6 equipped machines arrive .

Not sure if they will alter the plumbing though  , pretty sure they will stick with a series configuration .

Currently they have two three stage motors ( 137" lift and 100 cfm )
 
The 6.6 is a two stage with a bit less lift but higher cfm ( 131" lift  and 139cfm )

So you loose a bit of lift in dual series  ,  the three stage motor machine has 220" lift and 100 cfm .
The 6.6 machine will have around 200 " lift  and 139 cfm .

So all thats gained is more airflow  , i doubt if that would warrant even changing to a 2" hose .

Four nuisance  filters to clean several times a day ... and restrict your airflow ...cleaning with dirty water

Unnecessary system i'd say , waters not that scarce , don't you have floods in the UK right now

Seems a bit silly not to alter the plumbing to make more of the vac motors but it could mean a serious redesign.

I thought when these new motors came out everyone could jump in on the act but when one looks closely the design makes just as much difference as the components.

You mean change to parallel , yes they should offer it as an option at least ..

Still in the real world and on shorter runs the series 6.6 might work well , will have to wait for reviews i guess ..
  200" lift and  140 CFM  as opposed to  130 " lift and 290 cfm  for the storm/jag

I like the powermax but we mainly do commercial carpet cleaning and I dont think that 150psi will be enough!!

150 on commercial tile is adequate.
What type of commercial work do you do?

We do a lot of 100% wool carpet on casinos, restaurantes, and embassies.

Once we clean a casino restaurant with a prochem power max 100 psi and the result was really bad, when we clean the same carpet with Ninja 400psi looks much better.
