They need to in order to cover the cost of the cleaner. The coverage on the one that contains the scotchguard is poor in comparison to "pro" products.

Wow, I cant believe they:

a) Have the front to use that 'machine' and then call it professional!
b) Have the nerve to charge those prices!

I'm flabergasted, but then I suppose they would say that they have a good business model (with low running costs). Referrals are probably 0.01% though?

Now, a few years back, like about 1984, I was told the wording could only refer to the product as "Scotchgard".

Now I see it's a cleaner also.   

I also thought that The United Kingdom was the home of the English language, I'm mortified by some of the verbal garbage that I read on some web sites.
