Just follow the instructions on the side of the tub put it in your water tank with the water nothing else and rinse. You must always do this when cleaning white or off white carpets with a dute backing

Apply browning Solution mixed at correct measured dilution (DO NOT GUESS) with sprayer and let DWELL as per instructions, the dwell time is when it works.

Then extract with water.

Even though i think woodbridge are a very  good company to deal with,imo the powerplus is not man enough for heavy duty cleaning as it can only give out 70 to 100 psi max, i would look to upgrade when fin ances allow if possible.

I used to have a  powerplus , the water lift is good  and it has nice inbuilt heater ,it is just  the psi pressure i don't think is up to the rest of the machine imo ,psi and vacuum are both important.and i do not have a truckmount.Scott i was only suggesting this because it could be an additional cause to your wicking problem where you do not have enough psi to dislodge compact soil that could lay at the bottom of the pile.No offense meant.

I was only kidding..non taken mate....I see what you mean, however the pre-spraying and aggitation process, surely is the key to this, and that said, the psi should not be such a critical factor....I think if you a 100 psi machine alongside a higher rating, you wouldnt notice much of a difference...maybe I'm wrong...

Here's a weird one....try to get that off cut to wick up...by chucking hot water on it...will it ! will it bugger!

Try using a highly alkaline solution say , twice the concentration you would use in your tank.

I take it the face fibre is synthetic? (as you used traffic clean), but what is the backing made of and what type of carpet is it?

I found when i used to have a powerplus, i used to get the odd wicking problem especially if there was a  drinks spillallage which made me look into the causes . I use around 250 to 300 psi  now, which i find you get a deeper clean with less wet passes  and be drier as a result ,i would like to add using a higher psi   means you would  use a faster wand action on the wet passes so you do not saturate the fibres  and have suitable waterlift and airflow .

I said "I had no problems with the Ninja" I did NOT say "It was the best".
