Im just waiting to pick up replacement pump tomorrow, then fingers crossed it all works.

(Thanks to Gav Camm Lammy for the phone call, I used the old pump but its was really quiet so gonna try a diffrent one to see if it works. Cheers for the info on the merlin connections. They seem quite loose, the white one did anyway, third one down, is that normal?

Them anchorage points will be lucky to hold 250 grams never mind 250 kilograms .sorry mate i dont like to bring anybody down . But it does'nt look safe at all and will ur insurance cover you with those tanks strapped into a people carrier. Mike

Think i might look into a lay flat tank and get it bolted to the chassis then

get some proper ratchet straps for starters

With others on this, not even from a WC point of view.

Even at 30mph you'll be finished. Do you know the limit on the straps? Even if they could cope (which I doubt) with a head on smash, the 2mm thick metal hoops held down by an equally thin plate def will not.

Best all round to get a pro to bolt in into a metal frame and stright through into the chassis.

Insurance wouldn't pay out either so not only could you get minced but your nearest and dearest could lose everything.

Not worth the risk running with this until you get it sorted.

some thing that is free normally comes with a price attached and this well could be your life, sorry but change this asap, in a people carrier you would not be insured for this

why have you even posted pictures up? its a people carrier with the seats dropped forward and 2 tanks strapped down to tie down hooks which are meant to hold the weight of shopping.

to call that even a system is a joke.

others may agree with you but they have offered some positive advice
I started with a set up very similar and what I have now is very diy and bare bones basic e.g. tank pump reel.
What does'nt make this a system ? granted there is a saftey issue with the tanks, but since James has posted pics he's been able to make an informed descision from the replies left as to whether this is ok to work with or not and the choice is his.

Very poor,your dicing with death,better than a ladder you say,I would rather use a ladder any day as this is an accident waiting to happen that can be fatal,get the tanks put in profesionally.
