tile and grout cleaning machine
«

hi there, i've just purchased a diesel powered hotbox for my pressure washer. This so I'm told will make steam if I lower the flow of water through the washer. My question is can I use this set up to clean tile and grout say using one of those blue spinners that the tile cleaners use with extraction?
many thanks, richard

Yes you can but you will need a wet vacuum with an auto pump out to recover the water.
Numatic do one that's around £900

hi again, many thanks for the advice I do however have a vac system already.
However, i do have another question. I have a 13hp Honda at 15 litres min, for steam would i be right in saying that this would be over kill, it would also be very loud for some jobs, so could i get say a small electric karcher / nilfisk at 120 bar 6 / 7 litres min or similar ??
cheers

If you have a Vac you are better off with a single speed rotary for floor cleaning. Dwell time of chemicals is the key to efficient floor tile and grout cleaning not speed and pressure.
