old spent di resin use
« on: January 11, 2006, 09:44:28 pm »
Having two di vessels in my van,and having a tds of 360ish I used to get through quite a bit of resin.Having saved the last changed resin in a bin liner and kept moist
Iwas wondering if I could use it in my Ro man ro?I NORMALLY CHANGE THE POLISING VESSEL WHEN IT REACHES 10 TDS so there must be life left in it still?

i put my old resin in an inline resin bottle on my ro, it brings the tds down abit more making my new resin last longer!

We have 3 di resin containers. When I buy new resin I empty the third one, fill it with new resin and place it first.

The highest tds we've had has been 001 since I've been doing that.

With one it was always about 005 to 008. With 2 it was always 004 to about 006. I don't know why though.

What I mean is I don't know why the one catridge didn't do the job ro-man claimed it would.

Cheers
