What am I missing out on? Gardiners offer their carbon goosenecks as standard when you buy a pole or brush on their site. Why? Do some guys use these as standard all day everyday? If so why? Goosenecks are intended for hard to reach windows so why are goosenecks being used in this way. Do they offer something that Im not aware of?

matt i just find them easier to use on velux, windows above connies, any awkward windows, deep ledge windows etc.
plus cos the brush is screwed directly onto the gooseneck it stops the annoying brush movement that you get sometimes with screw on brushes.
i changed the extreme brush for my sill brush and IMO its awesome for most domestic work!
im well pleased with my gooseneck.its very strong and ultralight.

Hard to explain but i find it just so much easier with gardiners gooseneck, been using mine about a week now and find it making my day that much easier. only downside no angle adjustment so in tight spaces like up against a conny cant get the brush flat against the glass but thats only a very small percentage of jobs. Definatly worth the money. Getting another but will wait and see what the new brushes gardners are are bringing out are like and order at the same time.
