this is for ben and anyone else thats interested!

first day with carbon gooseneck and extreme standard brush(white) on my SLX.WHAT A REVELATION!!i cant praise this combo enough!!even with my aqua-daptor fitted this is a very light set up!!

im on an estate where i clean 90+ three bed semis.some have awkward windows above extensions/connys etc.

velux windows?SO MUCH EASIER!!

awkward angles? SO MUCH EASIER!

sills?NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER!

sharp edge on back of extreme brush?GREAT FOR SCRAPING STUBBORN BIRDMUCK!!

i defo worked faster and easier and made working in the rain almost a joy today!!

cleaning the bottom of french doors with pole upside down?VERY EASY!!

the brush scrubs well and is superb!the only little niggle is i have to be careful not to scrape the sill with the back edge of brush when cleaning them but ok if im careful.

ive never used a gooseneck before didnt realise just how great they are!!

defo thumbs up from me!!also the fact the brush cant move as its screwed directly onto the gooseneck is a big plus for me!!!

Agree 100 per cent dazmond you buy some things and you just know its money well spent and no regrets this is one of those things brian

Hey Daz,

How does it work with a long reach over a conny, usually with my normal angle adapter I have it straight with little or no angle at all so I get good brush contact with the window, can you still get good contact with the glass with the fixed angle of the gooseneck?

hi gaz no problem whatsoever on windows over connies.the angle seems to be just right for all sorts of angles!defo easier!

i remember a review of the gardiner super lite sill brush of yours that convinced me to buy one.  i've since bought it for all my poles and its the only brush we use now.

how come you ve changed?

hi richard i still love the sill brush mate but the extreme is even lighter and has a bevelled edge on the back for scraping stubborn birdmuck off.i think ill order another gooseneck for my sill brush then ive got the best of both!easy to swap then!!

its the gooseneck thats really made a difference richard.its very light and strong and the angle is perfect for the awkward windows and velux

ive went carbon gooseneck a couple of months back now.

to be honest i dont like it as much as my old plastic angle adapter, it makes the brush less stable on the window, but i've got the carbon on all my poles now as i just hate having to replace the plastic angle adapters when they break.  at least with the carbon it'll never break.

I`ve got the same gooseneck and brush but i leave them atop my longest pole(slx 35).
For everyday i`d feel completely deprived without the resi neck swivel.
From previous posts i think Dazmond is a big strong bloke so perhaps can ignore the weight of an Aquadaptor when reaching over conny roofs etc.I`ve never understood why anyone would have an aversion to the simple pole tap.
But if he might come on here in the future when his shoulders are playing up and saying he wished he had kept the end of the pole lighter then that might also be too late for anyone not realising that potential problems can be avoided now.

i think i mean a plastic gooseneck, thought that was an angle adaptor but checked the gardiners website and i meant a plastic gooseneck.

i go thru one every 3 months

nameless drudge the pole is light as a feather with an extreme brush on the end of a carbon gooseneck,which is fitted to an aqua-daptor,which is fitted to my 25ft SLX!!

THE WIND BLEW IT OVER TWICE TODAY WHEN LEFT IT LEANING AGAINST A WALL ITS THAT LIGHT!!

yeh your right im 6ft 2in with strong powerful arms and shoulders!!!

i play drums as well which gives the arms a good workout!!!

You`ll have rythmn then and the swivel is defo for you,mine just stops short of performing music but is definitely poetry in motion on the end of an extreme pole.

i now use this brush and its great.

Extreme white is great brush but cant get angle on sills correct and no scrubbing power IMHO

Medium radius sill is nice brush sure enough but no scrubbing power on stubborn marks i feel and distorted on not really that hot , rendering the right side corner useless so ditched

i too use 10" cf gooseneck and it is the mutts nuts, on my 30ft elite ( fascias/gutters/connyroofs) i use a plastic adaptor and it all feels wrong.

i really need another and the quick change adaptor ,ALEX

i changed the pole hose to aqua orange and removed the fitting in my original gooseneck as was on hot over winter.
what do i need m8 to use another gooseneck and brush as a quick change
pole hose is straight thru pole to Y assembly

SB yes i did say the extreme brush was like cleaning windows with a toothbrush!but i got used to the black soft extreme and ended up liking it but i left it on top of my van one day and lost it!!

this white extreme scrubs well for a ultra light brush but i will probably change it at weekend and put my sill brush on the gooseneck and save the extreme for when i order my 40ft supermax!!
