Waste water from making pure water
« on: April 18, 2012, 10:09:22 pm »
Hi another WFP question, LOL

So making pure water incurs waste water (didnt realise this), what is a rough amount of pure to waste to expect? I presume this is dependent on RO used?

What can be done with this water?? Can it be filtered back through the RO?? Or is it good for nothing apart from watering garden and going down the drain??

Andy

Oooooo that is shiny!!

Depends on ro but if you make 400 lt of purish water then you could put 800 plus down the drain what ever it comes of of your tap say 400tds then it would at least go upto 600 plus tds so youd never get it low enough before you use a di but waste could be alot lower dependent on the ro you have installed
