It seems to me that prices "Up North" are lower ds in Barnsley - Jackal are you up north too?
Still learning but I am aiming at £1 a window for uppers £1 patio door and double up 2 for a £1 for the smaller ones such as downstairs toilet etc.. and decent size downstairs 75p.
But still comes out quite more than some are prepared to pay on some houses.

I've never understood this idea because it can produce big variations between very similar properties. And whats "a window"? Do you charge the same for a little larder window as you do for a 10ft picture window? What does a conservatory come out to?

I price at least £1.50 per window, £3.50 for an average bay and £2.50 for patio doors.

16 sash georgian windows. Pole outside. Trad inside. £85.00 for 2.5 hours.
£10 min charge and never less than £1.00 per window. Dont care what the competition charge. Its there if you want it and have 3 new custys this week. Am now running over a week behind schedule coz of extras like conny roofs. Dont give your work away. Not had price rise in 18 months and its time i did again. Seen the price of L&B these days.

I've never charged £1 a window... I work out how long a job will take and price it accordingly...

Same here, look at a job and work out how long it will take, or even just look at a house and know how much we charge for a house of that size

Probably cus everything else has gone up every1s getting mugged off left right and centre, rich get richer poor get poorer.
£1 a window though or whole frame? :
