Saw this TV advert for the Karcher Window Vacuum last night - claiming streak free windows.

If some one could put a mini vaccum inside a brush head we'd never worry about spotting

Has anyone lost any customers to this product yet ive lost two , cant understand how they are gonna clean their  upstairs windows though

I have one client who has bought one, she is doing the bottom rear windows herself but she wants to pay me the same amount

Karcher are having a real push on these things. They're everywhere, Tesco, B&Q, can't go anywhere that hasn't got them to sell.
With luck, they'll get people thinking about cleaning their windows.

i think people pay me to clean windows coz they
a. dont have time
b, hate cleaning them
c , just cant be arsed
cant see any tool that will change that. might buy one to clean insides though

wait a couple of months, and you won't see one in any of those shops, but there will be plenty in the boot sales.

spoke to a custard today who also has just brought one, says its brilliant,i said do you need wipe the edges of glass, she yes just a bit but alot better than rubbing whole pane,i then saw her through a window of a house i was cleaning and she was rubbing the glass loads,it may be easier than scrimming the glass but they still have to put alot of effert in,i think we are safe anyway i aint lost any yet

Lost 3 houses all in a row to this windy vac.. The customers in the middle started the ball rolling and now he's going round the street showing it off like a goon

If there so good... why is there so many practically brand new ones on ebay 

Like already mentioned people have a "window cleaner" cause custys dont wanna/have time to clean there own...

I think this product will eventually fade out as it is pretty s***

Just like a George Forman Griller , , it will come out of the cupboard , once its remembered ,every now and then 
Only my opinion , would it be advertised on TV , if there was`nt a hose pipe ban in place ?

 Does it take of spider poop ??  ,, Probably Not

Ive had a customer about 10 years and she bought one to do her insides. She said its rubbish 

I had a quick go with it yesterday, and even i left streaks with it, you basically soap the window up with a cloth or whatever then it sucks the water off and drys the window. Its a right pain on the edges, would still have to scrim the edges. and between strokes lines were left.

I suppose with a bit of practise it could be ok...ish. But even my customer said"i cant be bothered with it, too much hassle for me" and i said yeh it seems like a lot of work to which she agreed...then asked us to clean all her insides lol.

I wouldnt worry about these guys...they wont be round for long

When I set up myself I had a guy say to me ''people buy Karchers and clean their own driveways, why are you bothering, you won't last''
Many domestic jobs we do, there's a Karcher (water pistol) pressure washer in the garage/shed and the reason they've hired us is because our kit and experience brings better results or simply because they've had enough of the backache from spending the weekend cleaning the driveway which takes us a couple of hours.

Don't worry about it lads. Like their pressure washers they will have problems and/or be slung in the shed.
