Agreed, but I was actually recalling the story about the guy answering "WHAT?!?!" in the dressing gown on St Val's...

Have you ever done any kind of sales Steve? You could knock a street with no window cleaner and still get a load of no's if you approach it wrong, proper canvassers dont just collect the yes's. People buy into people...

I've never sold anything before in my life. My business grew from magic beans...

Just because you are so good and find everything so easy I will bow down to your knowledge.... Its amazing how many multi millionaire experts you meet on here....that is you right Steve?

It always amazes me how patronizing people can be on here, they think that because they can do one particular aspect of the business that everyone should be able to do them same..... Its not always the case....

 ;D

calm down!

it just amazes me how you are dressing up door knocking. Its simple, if you can accept the knock backs and you have the drive to keep knocking then you will be successful at it.

But to ask if i have sold anything before is trying to patronise me is it not? Pot, kettle, black!

I don't claim to know everything and i tend not to bleat on here to much but when i can see someone trying to dress something up and come up with a load of crap. It beggars belief!

How am I dressing it up? I was asked a question by someone and replied, you then felt then need to jump in and say it wasnt needed....

I will defend door knocking cos its what I do for a living and if you think its that simple then you are wrong, its only simple to people that can do it and that obviously includes you.... but not everyone finds it that easy....

I hate door knocking. That's why I have got people to do it. I have done it though in the early days and can do it. I have tested patter, girls, boys, uniform, no uniform. Smart, casual.

What was the best result? A bloke with a limp and a stutter. Work that out...

....it's cause he was relentless in his pursuit

Just cos he got the best figures doesnt make it the best result, i would never knock hard work but I would rather work smart and do the jon well....

didn't i say result? who said figures?

the best result is someone who brings the work that is well paid, good access, signed for 3 months so its not a one off.

I went down the route with a well known door knockersing  :) company. They brought me bigger figures but always a lot of drama.

I know how to work smarter, its served me well.

I dont do drama and my stick rate is very good...

Not all canvassers are the same....

When I have took people on in the past I have trained them to be better at the job, why shouldnt window cleaners who want to canvass themselves get training to be better?
