My Gardiners pole hose does have some orange colour in it.

Andy, remove your glasses and you could see your pole hose is light orange! 
your hose reel must be yellow, your new pole hose from gardiners is light orange, otherwise you've got the old version. I bought my slx 25 2 months ago and Alex told me that i have the old version so he sent me the new one (free of charge) but no hose cutter like daz

Hose cutter? I thought it was a clothes peg, no wonder the washing line fell apart.  :
