I've had my run ins with Nick over the years, because back then I judged a book by its cover, so to speak, perhaps we both did, but I now speak to Nick quite regularly and he is a nice guy and I know that his opinion on me has also altered. I think the mistake we can all make is to judge the electronic, faceless aspect of a person and make judgements about them and that is a mistake and one reason why I don't like posts becoming personal.
CT is associated with a brand and is fiercely protective of that brand which is fine. Truckmounters is focused on one aspect of the industry, but we do allow non truck mount members in, espcially those that are thinking of upgrading. Me and Glyn run the forum from our own pockets and earn no revenue from advertising and don't allow commercially tained posts so as to retain absolute independence CIU is very broad, very open forum, which is a business, but I think all forums need diversity of opinions and personalities.
I think Mike is right, we all have something to bring to the table and other forum owners and members should be encouraged to join other forums regardless of the system, or products they use, because we have a lot more in common than the silly things that seem to divide us.
haven't seen you on Truckmounters lately, Mike.
