Insurance is due on my Vivaro van backend of this month, got a letter today from current insurer to say that they weren't willing to quote this time due to the fact that I have a tank fitted.I went on the compare sites, cheapest I could find with 9+ years of no claims for me and my lad (he is 24) is £1200.It's no wonder folk drive about without insurance, I think they are trying to price people off the road.Anybody know of a company that will happily quote with tank in back.

Aviva cancelled my policy recently after 4 years of being with them. After all the talk on here about not being covered with a fixed tank,i decided to re-check my policy,it went to the underwriters and the policy was cancelled, so I am very surprised to find you are covered,I would double check your policy just for your own peace of mindRegardsJay
