CLX is a great pole, I used one for about 1.5 years, I upgraded to a SLX when I needed to clean 3rd storey stuff. Both great poles.

I use a CLX 22 as my everyday pole, no regrets at all. Just about to order a new one. I would say if anything they are too good for muck and truck windows. Yes the SLX is better but its dearer. You are only cleaning windows, when you think about it logically, how good do you need?

mate i have no problem with the clx mate slx is far to expensive for a pole anyway people on here just get off on the slx thing. a pole is a pole as long as you look after them. look at me my first pole is a unger 27 ftr still use it from time to time bought a xtel  use for gutter cleans. now the clx is lighter and does the job.

I had a clx but upgraded to a slx after a few months but if the pole was going to be used by an employee clx is the way to go  ;)

I was thinking the same !! Not sure whether its an insert from a mod who's left out info, or whether its a quote from halfadaylee, its not clear at all.

if you work alone the slx would be the pole of choice, I guess you have never used one as unger and xtel poles are very poor in comparision I have about 5 sat in my yard that dont get used anymore.

it is not getting off on the slx thing, becasue if I found a better pole I would use it and sing its praises, the fact is the SLX is the best pole on the market pure and simple, if your local to cambridge I will show you this first hand.

I agree with other guy that says clx are an ideal staff pole the 27" covers most domestic jobs with ease and are cheap.

clx22 is my every day pole and is nice to use. I will try an slx soon but am happy with clx. Use Gardiner's soft sill brush on end and works well.

One tip - when bolts on clamps start to need daily adjusting put 2 wraps of ptfe tape on the bolts. Having to adjust clamps several times a day gets tiresome.
