Anyone else waiting fo rthe CLX 22/27's to come back in?

I knew the moment I decided to get a pole the one I wanted would go out of stock!

Going to stick with it though, have been told there is no comparisson... :)

I decided to finally acquire my SLX-22 and immediately noticed they were out of stock.
Bought a CLX-22 and I'm delighted anyway.  :)

I second that. I've been using the CL-X18 for over 18 months now and I'm pretty much all WFP, and it's still got plenty of life in it. Best pole I've used of this size. Works well with the Super Lite Extreme brushes. I've just acquired the CL-X27 for third floor work. Very nice pole too. So far I don't think I've had to use all the sections.  I have a suspicion that if I had a CL-X22 my 27 footer wouldn't get much use.

Would be pretty pointless having three poles get one that does it all on domestic,  job done

I like working light. The majority of my work only requires an 18' pole. I currently only have a few jobs where I need the longer pole and it doesn't warrant me carrying around the extra weight of even the 22' pole for everything else just to do a few odd jobs that require it so I will always have at least two poles. Not sure yet whether I'll stick with the 27' pole. If I find over a period of months that I don't use one of the sections I might just convert it to a 22' and lose the weight that way.

fair play, we all work differently, personally I dont find the pole heavy at 27ft at all and thats after a full days work, I do still have the old heavy poles even have them stupd 4ft poles that are a waste of money (lesson learnt there).
I did used to change over poles but was not cost effective to do this, but I do a wide range in height so would spend more time changing over

If anyone ever does need a short pole, certain broom handles have the right thread to fit an angle adaptor.  No need for modification - just a bit of pole hose taped/velcroed to it works fine.  A short pole for a couple of quid.
